The MikroTik L009UiGS-RM Router Board is one of the advanced and prominent products from the renowned MikroTik company. It is suitable for use in a wide range of network settings, from home and small business networks to large office and commercial networks. The L009UiGS-RM Router Board is the first MikroTik router board featuring SFP capabilities. In fact, the L009UiGS-RM is an upgraded model of the RB2011 router board, retaining all the key elements and features of the RB2011 while adding several enhancements, including its attractive red color and appealing price.

From a hardware perspective, the MikroTik L009UiGS-RM is equipped with a powerful dual-core ARM CPU running at 800 MHz. It also features eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, one SFP port, 256 MB of RAM, a Level 5 license, one USB 2.0 port, and one PoE port.

In most cases and configurations, the L009 is up to 4 times faster than the RB2011, ranging from simple FastTrack routing to complex bridge filters. The L009’s IPsec hardware encryption ensures lower CPU usage without measurable performance degradation compared to a standard driver.

All router ports are Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000). The first port supports PoE-in, allowing it to be used as an alternative to a DC jack. The last port of the L009UiGS-RM features PoE-OUT, enabling the router to power another device. Another advantage of this router is its SFP port (2.5 Gbps).

The new enclosure itself is a remarkable innovation, designed and produced to closely resemble the RB5009 series routers.
